Faculty of Basic Sciences

The Faculty of Basic Sciences opened simultaneously with the establishment of Bu-Ali Sina University in 1975 in the current building with an area of ​​approximately 22,000 square meters, while the central organization and many faculties were also located in this building.

Educational and cultural spaces, such as the assembly hall (Shahid Chamran Hall), the central library, the specialized library of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, reading halls for girls and boys, the faculty cafeteria, the cinema, two amphitheater halls, computer halls for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs (each separate and shared with the Faculty of Chemistry), a treasure trove of manuscript books, two dining halls for girls and boys, rooms for scientific associations and student organizations, and the University Jihad are all located in this beautiful and unique old building.
